The National President of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners, Tpl Dr Chime Ogbonna, FNITP, within the week, paid a courtesy visit to the founder/convenor of the Abuja International Housing Show, Bar Fetus Adebayo , who incidentally is part of the NITP family.
The visit was to further strengthen the relationship between the two organisations, which has blossomed over the years, and explore more ways of promoting planning advocacy in the country.
It was a robust engagement at the end of the day, as useful ways of promoting planning advocacy at the national, regional, and local levels were discussed.
Both organizations also talked about ways of promoting publicity in the forthcoming Abuja International Housing Show in July, and the NITP international conference taking place in October this year.
Accompanying the National President to the visit was the National Secretary of the the NITP, Tpl. Dr Zayyannu Mohammed, FNITP; the NITP National Legal Advisor, Tpl (Barr.) Udegbunam Obioma; and the National Public Relations Secretary of the NITP, Dr CJ Nor, FNITP.
